Ben Durrant currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer of The Strand Partners, a single family office based in Los Angeles CA. Prior to this Ben was a Director at ICG Advisors, an investment consulting firm in Los Angeles with more than $4 billion in assets where he was responsible for investment manager due diligence, portfolio construction and client servicing. Over the last 16 years Ben has worked as trader for Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank in New York and was the head trader at Vantis Capital Management, a global macro hedge fund in Los Angeles that managed over $1.5 billion in assets. Ben attended Tufts University in Boston and received his MBA with a concentration in International Finance from Columbia Business School in New York.
